Meet the Crew
Colin Hower

What else can we tell you about Colin that you don’t already know?! Originally from Maryland, he lived in Bend, OR, and all across Colorado before landing in Durango. His love of kayaking, rafting, tele skiing, and climbing led to his passion for the perfect adventure rig. He has also worked as a climbing and raft guide, as well as volunteered on search and rescue teams in several places. When you combine that with his experience building custom airstream trailers and sailboats, it’s not surprising that he’s so dedicated to perfecting Hower Built campers.
Quinn

Originally from Arizona, Quinn moved to Durango to study engineering at Fort Lewis College. He’s now putting down roots here in town and is excited to be a part of the community! Quinn is our in-house engineering wizard, and spends his free time outside skiing, camping, mountain biking and hunting.
Saren

A true Colorado girl, Saren grew up in Basalt and has lived all over the state – Gunnison, Crested Butte, and, after a recent stint in Salt Lake City, back in Durango! She went to college for Sociology, Environmental Studies and has an Outdoor Industry MBA focused on Sustainable Product Development. She has worked in sales and buying positions for various outdoor companies.
Bradly Hower

As a graduate of Washington State University with a BA in Fine Arts, Bradley has worked in design in many areas – building, landscape, furniture, machines, sailboats, graphic design and even low temperature high vacuum vapor condensers (whatever that means). After a couple decades working in all these capacities, he founded Insight Design where he practiced for 22 years.
He is an avid sailor and wood worker, currently building his second sailboat and remodeling his home on the Chesapeake Bay.
Jake

Hailing from the mitten state (that’s Michigan), Jake has lived in Telluride, Alaska, North Carolina, and finally made it to Durango! He loves to hike, bike, and snowboard, and also works at Purgatory. With a love of camping, and a background in carpentry and electrical work, he’s a great addition to the team here at Hower Built.
Whiskey, Aspen, and Major

The first Hower Built employees, they enjoy supervising production and chewing on bones in the office
